Mold and mildew build up can be very difficult to combat especially in the bath and shower area of the bathroom.

In home supply stores you can sometimes find these products marketed as neutral ph cleaners. Safe on most polished and natural marble surfaces. For extra caution test product on spare tile or inconspicuous area regular use every 2 to 4 weeks depending on level of use will keep surfaces clean. Saturate any moldy areas thoroughly.

Instead you can use a mild soap or detergent cleaner or an all purpose cleaner for the daily cleaning of marble surfaces. Put on a pair of rubber gloves and apply the cleaning solution to the marble shower with a sponge or cloth. This helps you avoid damaging the glaze that gives it its shine when you apply the soap or cleaner. Step 1 pour three to four drops of gentle dish soap into a bucket of warm water.
